Position Summary:

 

The Director of Strategic Digital Business Solutions is a visionary leader responsible for driving enterprise growth through strategic business development, digital transformation, and technology innovation. This role blends high-level commercial strategy with hands-on leadership in digital solutions, including AI, machine vision, and operational intelligence. The ideal candidate will architect and execute initiatives that deliver measurable value across the organization and to clients, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and competitive advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
    • Develop and execute business development strategies focused on revenue growth, client acquisition, and market penetration.
    • Lead commercial negotiations and structure deals that drive long-term value.
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities aligned with company goals.
  • Digital Transformation Leadership
    • Establish and lead a team delivering digital solutions across OT and IT domains, including AI-driven analytics, machine vision, and intelligent automation.
    • Introduce and scale digital offerings to new and existing customers, focusing on outcome-based value creation.
    • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and operations to align solutions with client needs and industry trends.
  • Technology Innovation & Operational Effectiveness
    • Champion the integration of AI, machine learning, and vision technologies to optimize manufacturing and business processes.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance data utilization, predictive maintenance, and real-time decision-making.
    • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead cross-functional teams and influence across all levels of the organization.
    • Provide mentorship, career development, and performance management for team members.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development aligned with strategic goals.
  • Financial & Strategic Planning
    • Own budgeting, forecasting, and profitability for digital and strategic initiatives.
    • Generate and maintain financial reports to support compensation, cost containment, and ROI analysis.
  • External Representation
    • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and executive forums.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and technology partners.

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in strategic business development and digital solution sales.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial process industries.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic mindset with proven execution capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of AI, machine vision, and digital transformation technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute business plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in enterprise technology trends, compliance, and operational intelligence.
