Product Marketing Manager
At Prodigal, we are building AI Agents for loan servicing and collections. Founded in 2018 by IITB alumni, our journey began with one bold mission: to eradicate the inefficiencies and confusion that have plagued the lending and collections industry for decades. We are backed by Y Combinator, Accel and Menlo Ventures.
Today, we stand at the forefront of a seismic shift in the industry, building Agentic AI applications for consumer finance. Powered by our cutting-edge platform, Prodigal’s Intelligence Engine (PIE), we’re creating the next-generation agentic workforce - one that empowers companies to achieve unprecedented levels of operational excellence and intelligence.
With over half a billion consumer finance interactions processed and a growing impact on more than 100 leading companies across North America, we’ve established ourselves as the go-to partner for organizations that demand more from their AI solutions. Our unparalleled experience, coupled with our trusted customer relationships, uniquely positions us to build Agentic AI applications that will revolutionize the future of consumer finance.
At Prodigal, we are driven by a singular, unrelenting purpose: to transform how consumer finance companies engage with their customers and, in turn, drive successful outcomes for all.
About the role
We believe AI agents will do to modern work what cloud did to infrastructure and mobile did to consumer behavior. This role reflects how product marketing must evolve in an era where AI agents actively perform work rather than simply enable it.
AI is fundamentally changing how software is built, evaluated, and adopted. Unlike traditional SaaS, agent-native products reason, decide, and act. This shift not only alters the product space but also affects how customers assess trust, risk, and value. As a result, the boundary between product management and go-to-market is collapsing. We created this role to reflect that reality.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will own how our AI agents are understood by the market and internally. You are someone who can dismantle an LLM-based architecture, understand its nuances, and then translate that into a market-defining narrative. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and the Customer. You will not just "market" the product; you will be the bridge that ensures our technical innovation aligns with market-moving outcomes. You will own the "Why" and the "How" of our AI agents, blurring the lines between product strategy and market execution.
What you’ll do
Product understanding
- Develop deep context on our AI agents, including architecture, data flows, guardrails, and real-world behavior
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to understand current capabilities, constraints, and roadmap intent
Narrative & positioning ownership
- Define and own the product narrative: positioning, messaging, and differentiation
- Ensure clarity and consistency across all customer-facing and internal touchpoints
- Evolve the narrative as the market, product, and category mature
Go-to-market execution
- Create high-quality GTM artifacts: sales decks, product one-pagers, white papers, product videos, and enablement content
- Produce technical pre-sales documentation (e.g., agent architecture, data privacy, security, compliance narratives)
- Support complex enterprise evaluations, including RFPs and technical due diligence
Market feedback & influence
- Track competitors and adjacent categories; distill insights into battlecards and strategic guidance
- Spend time with customers to understand how the product is actually used and evaluated
- Feed GTM learnings back into product discussions to influence what we build next, not just how we sell
Internal alignment
- Drive cross-functional alignment through structured debriefs and clear documentation
- Ensure everyone in the company shares a common understanding of the product and GTM strategy
What you’ll bring
Professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in Product, Strategic Consulting, or a Go-To-Market (GTM) function.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a bias toward experimentation and the comfort to navigate evolving product landscapes.
- A self-motivated "owner" who can influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment between Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.
Technical acumen & AI expertise
- A deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and the broader generative AI ecosystem.
- A passionate "AI Evangelist" who stays ahead of industry trends and champions the transformative potential of AI.
- Ability to rapidly master complex systems and translate technical specifications into compelling, value-driven narratives for diverse audiences.
Visual & verbal communication
- High proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill sophisticated concepts into clear, persuasive content.
- Hands-on experience creating high-impact visual assets, including technical architecture diagrams, executive slide decks, and product collateral.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered design and productivity tools to accelerate content creation and enhance visual storytelling.
From day 1, Prodigal has been defined by talented, humble, and hungry leaders and we want this mindset and culture to continue to blossom from top to bottom in the company. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to work in a fast-paced, intellectually-stimulating environment where you will be pushed to grow, then please reach out because we are looking to build a transformational company that reinvents one of the biggest industries in the US.
