Prodly AppOps, the company’s flagship product for reference data management (RDM), is designed by Salesforce experts for Salesforce end users and system integration (SI) partners to enable four-click deployment of relational data between Salesforce orgs. Prodly, a VC-backed Salesforce ISV partner, is looking for a talented, hardworking individual with great energy and initiative to join our team.
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Web team. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and reliability of our microservices based product, and you will own the entire testing process, from planning to execution. You will be working closely with developers to create robust automation, UI, and integration tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire software testing life cycle for our microservices-based product, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for all features.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated E2E tests using Playwright and TypeScript specifically for microservices.
- Create and execute UI tests using Storybook and integration tests using Vitest.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies for new features and releases in a microservices architecture.
- Be involved in product design to guarantee compliance of test coverage with end-user requirements.
- Create analysis reports and communicate results to the engineering team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Log test results, and work with the rest of the team to see bugs through to closure
- Maintain and optimize existing test suites, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing process for continuous delivery.
- Advocate for best practices in testing, code quality, and automation across the team.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members, helping to raise the quality bar across the team.
- Knowledge of performance testing, microservices testing, and other specialized testing approaches is a big plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is also a significant advantage.
- Basic to intermediate AWS knowledge and SaaS experience are nice to have.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a QA role, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Experience with Manual Testing.
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation and integration tests.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress for E2E testing.
- Experience with Storybook for UI testing and Vitest for integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience in performance testing, microservices testing, performance testing, and/or other specialized tests is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
