About the role  

This Director will lead the Carrier Network Operations. This critical leadership role will oversee carrier connectivity and support the global operations team to grow and maintain the project44 network. The key responsibilities include managing the team and operationalizing carrier connections to enable our visibility and lifecycle of products. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Drive a rigorous data-driven approach to operations with process instrumentation and KPIs (e.g., carrier onboarding rates, funnel conversion, volume tracked, number of connections within the Network, cost per onboarded carrier) 
  • Ensure best-in-class day-to-day operational execution. Drive consistent and recurring productivity improvements through process redesign, rigorous execution, and automation.  
  • Hire, develop, and lead heavily operational teams (Carrier Telematics onboarding, Direct Integrations, and Carrier Support). Drive individual Network team members’ career goals, growth opportunities, and performance feedback. 
  • Provide leadership and support to Krakow's team members, fostering a positive work environment, facilitating professional development, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve team and site-wide goals. 
  • Partner with the VP of Network in overall go-to-market, budget, resourcing needs, and headcount planning to support a “beat-and-raise” financial model 
  • Partner with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to drive accelerated time-to-value for our customers 
  • Influence Product and Engineering roadmap by sizing and articulating internal and external tech opportunities related to Network 
  • Support with Customer Success and Sales teams on key accounts and prospects where p44’s network operations are a critical differentiator 
  • Act as a site leader for our Krakow office, carrying the p44 culture and supporting the development and success of team members in the Krakow office. 

Requirements and preferred skills: 

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience leading high-performing, global teams in service operations at technology companies 
  • Proven track record serving a customer base and supporting software products across regions 
  • Excellent English language and communication skills – verbal and written   
  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant qualification  
  • Knowledge of both analytics (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker) and programming language (e.g., SQL, python) preferred 
  • Demonstrated skills in process design and automation. Certification in operational excellence (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) preferred 
  • Prior experience in the supply chain/logistics industry preferred 
  • In-office commitment: Employees are expected to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in the office.
