About the role:

project44 is currently in search of a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst who possesses a strong understanding of SaaS financial concepts as well as strong analytical capabilities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operations. 

This position presents an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in FP&A, financial analysis, and data-driven decision-making to drive the company’s success. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling informed business decisions. Key responsibilities: 

  • Analyze financial results on a monthly basis, comparing actuals with budget and forecasted figures 
  • Generate detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, encompassing key aspects such as revenue performance, expense analysis, profitability assessment, headcount growth, and relevant supporting metrics 
  • Develop new models to link operational metrics with financial outcomes and increase understanding of ROI 
  • Meet with business leaders to review & discuss monthly results and generate forecasts 
  • Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies  
  • Work across finance and our cross functional teams (Product, Sales, People, Marketing, etc.) to help drive better efficiency and productivity  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in Finance or Accounting with strong fundamental knowledge of accounting & SaaS finance principles 
  • 2-4 years of experience working in FP&A or a similar analytical financial role 
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close support 
  • Strong Excel skills; ability to work with large, complex data sets 
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and experience working with senior leadership 
  • Experience with financial planning tools (examples include Adaptive, Planful, Essbase, Anaplan) 
  • ERP experience (examples include NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) 
  • Data visualization experience is a plus (examples include Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) 
  • Comfortable working in high-tech startup company with a fast-paced environment 
  • Assertive, highly-driven, and self-motivated  

In-office Commitment: This position requires a commitment to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in-office three days weekly. 

Time Zone: Flexibility in working hours is expected, including some overlap with US business hours to support key meetings and collaboratio
