Position Overview: 

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Renewal Account Manager to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring customer retention and satisfaction by managing contract renewals, addressing client needs, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Renewals 
    • Manage and oversee the renewal process for customer contracts, ensuring timely execution. 
    • Proactively communicate with clients about upcoming contract expirations and renewal options. 
  2. Customer Retention 
    • Focus on maintaining and improving customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. 
    • Address customer concerns, identify risks of churn, and take action to mitigate them. 
  3. Upselling & Cross-Selling 
    • Identify opportunities to offer additional products, features, or services that align with customer needs. 
    • Collaborate with sales or product teams to tailor upsell/cross-sell proposals. 
  4. Collaboration with Teams 
    • Partner with customer success, sales, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. 
    • Align renewal strategies with overall customer account plans. 
    • Work closely with the marketing and field sales teams to align strategies and share insights. 
  5. Data Management & Reporting 
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, contract details, and renewal statuses in CRM systems. 
    • Provide regular reports on renewal performance metrics, such as retention rates and revenue. 
  6.  Strategic Planning 
    • Analyze customer trends and behavior to forecast renewals and identify areas for improvement. 
    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve retention and revenue growth goals.
  7. Customer Advocacy: Work closely with customer success and support teams to address and resolve client concerns, ensuring a seamless renewal process 
  8.  Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through inbound leads from Marketing 
  9.  Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.  

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar role. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal or retention goals.

Skills: 

  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. 
  • Indepth knowledge of SaaS business. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. 
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. 

Work from office ask: You are required to work from the Bengaluru office 5 days in a week.
