  • Serve as the key technical liaison between the software engineering team and customer-facing teams, translating field feedback into technical improvements
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers specializing in testing, cybersecurity, DevOps, and production
  • Oversee the bring-up and production-readiness of our robots in close coordination with hardware and software teams
  • Continuously improve the processes and tools required for scaling production of our autonomous systems
  • Drive and coordinate certification efforts to meet cybersecurity and quality compliance standards
  • Ensure the overall platform meets both internal and external regulatory requirements

Your Profile

  • Solid background in field robotics, defence, or critical infrastructure systems with practical deployment experience in production environments
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams in robotics, embedded systems, or complex mechatronic environments
  • Strong expertise in configuring and troubleshooting embedded or robotic systems, including flashing firmware and system integration
  • In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, serial, and wireless, as well as LTE/4G/5G, Starlink, tactical radios, and secure networking (VPNs)
  • Proficiency in Linux environments, including using command-line tools for system deployment, monitoring, and debugging
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Programming skills in C++ and experience with ROS are considered a plus, along with familiarity with certification processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English is a must.

Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.

  • Room for professional growth and development
  • Participation in the company’s overall success while working on groundbreaking projects
