What Will You Do?

The Overview

The Director/Senior Director, AI Enablement will lead how AI is imagined, built, and scaled across Prolaio, setting a strategy that brings production‑grade AI into clinical, operational, and enterprise workflows. By turning real healthcare and business needs into practical AI‑powered solutions, this role directly advances Prolaio’s mission to unlock continuous, predictive, and shareable heart data and translate it into better cardiovascular outcomes. This position will play a central role in shaping Prolaio’s approach to generative AI, intelligent search, conversational interfaces, chatbot experiences, agentic AI-driven task automation, and AI-enabled user workflows across clinical trial platforms, healthcare data platforms, analytics environments, and application experiences.

 

The Specifics

  • Define and lead the enterprise AI enablement strategy in alignment with Prolaio’s business priorities, product roadmap, and mission to advance cardiovascular research and care through real-world data and analytics.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop AI use cases across clinical trial platforms, healthcare data platforms, user-facing applications, and internal functions including Marketing, Finance, Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Analytics, and Data Science.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on AI priorities, business value, adoption goals, and success metrics, and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders on roadmap, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Partner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and business teams to design and deliver AI-powered capabilities that improve user experience, collaboration, productivity, and decision-making in both internal and external environments.
  • Lead the design, development, and productionization of generative AI features such as conversational assistants, clinical or enterprise search, knowledge retrieval tools, workflow copilots, and chatbot experiences.
  • Drive the implementation of agentic AI use cases that enable task automation, role-based workflow orchestration, and operational efficiency while maintaining appropriate human oversight, auditability, and control.
  • Establish repeatable processes and operating frameworks for evaluating, piloting, validating, deploying, monitoring, and continuously improving AI-powered features and products in production environments.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support the integration of AI-enabled services into modern application, data, and cloud architectures using platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and data environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, or proprietary platforms.

Who You Are?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or another relevant technical field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in healthcare, life sciences, digital health, or healthcare technology.
  • Track record of identifying and scaling AI use cases across clinical trial, healthcare data, and enterprise application platforms in a regulated environment.
  • Experience improving internal user experience and enterprise workflow effectiveness through AI use cases supporting functions such as Marketing, Finance, Clinical Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Analytics, and Data Science.
  • Proven experience developing and launching AI-powered products or features in production in a regulated environment, such as chatbot experiences, generative AI-enabled search, intelligent retrieval, conversational interfaces, and workflow copilots.
  • Experience implementing agentic AI or advanced automation approaches for task execution, role-based automation, decision support, or workflow orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, clinical workflows, and enterprise systems, along with the ability to translate business and user needs into deployable AI capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory (FDA requirements and global standards, 501(k) submission, 21 CFR Part 11 across product development and post-market activities), privacy, quality and risk frameworks relevant to AI deployment in healthcare and clinical environments.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills, with the ability to operate as an independent self-starter.

Starting Salary is at $209,000.00 (Exact Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
