The Position
Strategic Business Consultant - New Business
Reports To
Sales Manager
Summary
A seasoned strategic business consultant who is able to manage a more advanced revenue target. Through their experience they are able to utilize a more strategic approach to excelling against their internal targets by using more advanced sales methodologies and rigorous territory planning. They will use their knowledge and experience to deliver dedicated training for both new and existing team members. Coordinates with internal teams both within commercial and cross functionally to discuss and deliver solutions to enhance clients experience with Property Finder.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for pursuing more complex prospects (e.g. larger number of listings, higher competitor spend, competitor exclusivity) where they will be targeted against signing up new prospects [measured via targets and prospect lists].
- They will be able to forecast their own target achievement with a high degree of accuracy (+/-5%) as well as help their team members to come up with a clearly defined plan of how to achieve their own targets.
- Be seen as a person of authority within the team, with the ability to be a delegate in the absence of the team lead or manager - e.g. to run the weekly forecast meeting.
- Lead 1x training session per quarter with their peer group on a topic outlined by the Manager.
- Support new joiners within their team around on-boarding. This should include weekly check-ins, identifying and addressing all training gaps and implementing training accordingly. Assist the line manager with shadowing new joiners on meetings for the first 3 months. The strategic BC should attend a minimum of 2 coaching meetings per month.
- Collate all team feedback in terms of client feedback, product enhancements and possible marketing initiatives and schedule a quarterly meeting with key stakeholders in these departments to provide feedback and ideate for solutions.
- Identifying new opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes to drive continued efficiency in process.

- Proven track record in continuous performance to target.
- Excellent communication skills, Strong product knowledge, highly organized and accomplished at objection handling, problem solving and closing deals.
- Excellent understanding of competitors and the real estate industry.
- Strong negotiation skills.
