About The Role 

Our AI Data Prep and Analysis Platform is an AI-native product that lets analysts go from messy data to insights in minutes. After winning with an enterprise-sales motion, we’re adding a self-serve, product-led-growth (PLG) channel. As development for data, we’re adjacent to AI code editors such as Cursor and Windsurf.

You will own the end-to-end experience that turns curious visitors into loyal users and champions. Your responsibilities will include

You Will (Optional)

  • Live and breathe the customer: Become an expert in the data analyst persona at various organization sizes, and this will include many users with titles in finance, investment, marketing and accounting. Spend a good amount of zoom and in-person time with end users. Become an expert user of the product.

    Own the PLG funnel: Drive activation metrics (sign-up → aha with example walkthrough → build first workflow → regular usage), design experiments, and ship improvements with a <2-week time-to-learn cycle.

    Quarterback PLG effort: work daily with the team to drive and coordinate all efforts 

    • Onboarding and Examples - up-level and refine the onboarding experience and existing verticalized examples in partnership with a data engineer/analyst
    • Instrument & analyze: enhance product usage events, build Amplitude charts, and publish weekly “PLG health” dashboards for execs
    • Product enhancements: drive product enhancements based on feedback and learnings from customer conversations and product instrumentation
    • Enable marketing: work with product marketing to arm our marketing and champions with the field with compelling content

Ideally You Would Have (Requirements)

  • Hands-on work to drive PLG motions at a modern data-stack company (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Hex, Sigma, Monte Carlo Data) or an AI company (Cursor, Replit)
  • Be in the know of latest trends, what’s working, how AI companies are executing on fast growth, and the challenges faced by data analysts. Reach out and continuously learn from peers 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication; able to write crisp PRDs, sketch wireframes, and articulate roadmap trade-offs and drive prioritization
  • 2-10 years total Product Management experience with a proven track record of shipping user-facing features in rapid iterations.
  • Fluency in product analytics—comfortable writing basic SQL, defining activation/retention cohorts, and interpreting A/B results.
