How you will shape Prophero:
- Developing and optimizing backend systems: Building and maintaining APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript in a Serverless architecture.
- Shaping technical architecture: Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Driving best practices: Ensuring code quality, implementing testing frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in development processes.
- Improving system performance: Monitoring and optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partnering with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to align on features and ensure seamless user experiences
What you will bring to our team:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of their ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).
- Integrated SOLID principles and Clean Code techniques in your daily coding.
- Education:
- Degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- General Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
- Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing startup environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Tools:
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and knowledge of API standards and security best practices.
- Knowledge or SST or Serverless, although not required, will be nice to have
- Advanced English, as all our teams are distributed globally and we use English for all internal communications.
