The Creative Director, Campaigns will unlock Prophet's creative potential by building campaigns that audiences remember, talent wants to work with, and clients can't do without.
This role will expand our creative offering, sharpen our market differentiation, and deepen our relationships with clients. The Creative Director, Campaigns will make our brand thinking more tangible and memorable and be the standard-bearer for creative campaigns at Prophet.
Your Day to Day
Strategic & Conceptual Leadership
- Translate brand positioning and strategic insights into campaign platforms that emotionally and commercially resonate.
- Lead the creation of big organizing ideas across integrated marketing channels for B2C, B2B, and internal engagement.
- Align creative strategy with broader category trends, market dynamics, and emerging business models.
Creative Campaign Development
- Direct multidisciplinary teams (art directors, copywriters, producers) from ideation to execution.
- Own concept development for campaigns that build awareness, shift perceptions, and drive action.
- Balance creativity with clarity, storytelling with structure, aesthetics with outcomes.
New Business & Practice Growth
- Spot opportunities for campaign-led growth within existing client relationships.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, and rapid-turnaround concepting.
- Help elevate & amplify Prophet’s reputation as a hybrid strategic-creative partner in the market.
Client & Account Leadership
- Serve as a senior creative voice in client engagements, presenting work persuasively at the executive level.
- Develop trust and deep relationships with client stakeholders across functions and levels.
- Partner with strategy, verbal, and design teams to deliver fully integrated creative solutions.
Execution Oversight & Content Production
- Oversee content and campaign toolkits across digital, social, experiential, and traditional media.
- Guide production teams, internal or external, ensuring creative excellence within budget and timeline.
- Maintain high standards for executional craft, messaging coherence, and brand alignment.
Creative Team Development & Culture
- Inspire, mentor, and grow creative talent, instilling a culture of conceptual excellence and collaboration.
- Play an active role in creative leadership, including staffing oversight, utilization management, and participation in key leadership discussions.
- Foster inclusive, positive project experiences that adapt to different workstyles.
- Model leadership within Prophet's creative practice and actively contribute to culture and IP.
What You Bring
- 12+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably at top-tier integrated agencies.
- Proven ability to develop and sell breakthrough campaign concepts to C-suite clients.
- Deep understanding of creative strategy, audience insight, and category fluency.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating concept-led, emotionally resonant campaign work.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing creative deliverables end-to-end.
- Fluency in storytelling, presentation, and facilitation—especially in high-stakes client environments.
- A hybrid mindset that bridges agency craft with consultancy discipline.
- Passion for coaching talent and building creative capability in a fast-growing environment.
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3+ days per week in office/at client)
Salary Range: $230,000 - $260,000
