Media Director, Digital

Atlanta, Austin

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Media Director with a deeply rooted, digitally-led B2B background to lead integrated media strategy, omnichannel planning, and activation across a few key strategic client engagements. This is not a generalist media role — we are looking for a practitioner who lives and breathes B2B digital: from Account-Based Marketing (ABM) architecture and content syndication mechanics, to campaign tagging infrastructure and CRM platform integration.

The role will partner closely with Strategy, Creative, PMO, Analytics, and Client Leadership teams to translate complex business objectives into precise audience, channel, and commercialization plans. The ideal candidate moves fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution — helping clients define how to reach and engage audiences while building rigorous, technically sound activation plans that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable business outcomes.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Digital Strategy & ABM Leadership

  • Architect and lead full-funnel ABM programs spanning 1:many (broad audience advertising), 1:few (industry/segment targeting), and 1:1 (curated, high-value account experiences) — translating business priorities into tiered account strategies with differentiated channel and content approaches.
  • Develop and manage intent-driven targeting models using ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or equivalent), including account scoring, buying stage segmentation, predictive analytics workflows, and coordinated activation triggers across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Design event-based surround sound strategies— coordinating media touchpoints, content moments, and account signals around key industry events, product launches, or pipeline milestones to create immersive, multi-channel account experiences.

Content Syndication & Lead Generation Programs

  • Lead the strategy and execution of content syndication programs, including waterfall distribution models, multi-touch lead programs, lead reconciliation processes, and makegoods with publisher partners.
  • Manage co-registration programssuch as webinar-based lead capture, virtual events, and sponsored content placements — ensuring proper lead flow, data integrity, and integration with downstream marketing automation.
  • Build and oversee custom content programs with trade publications and B2B media partners, including sponsored content, research partnerships, and editorial integrations that drive qualified audience engagement.
  • Understand the full mechanics of B2B lead generation: from top-of-funnel impression to MQL handoff — including lead scoring logic, SLA definitions, and feedback loops between media and sales.

Platform Integration & Technical Execution

  • Demonstrate hands-on fluency with marketing and ad tech platform integrations, including Google Ads/DV360, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, and their connections to ABM platforms, DSPs, and analytics tools.
  • Own digital campaign tracking, tagging, and measurement infrastructure: UTM taxonomy, pixel/tag implementation (via Google Tag Manager or equivalent), conversion tracking, and cross-platform attribution setup.
  • Ensure proper CRM and MAP data flowsbetween media platforms and client systems — including lead routing, lifecycle stage mapping, and campaign attribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and manage relationships with B2B data providers(e.g., Bombora, TechTarget, Aberdeen, ZoomInfo, Dun & Bradstreet), with working knowledge of each provider's data sourcing methodology, targeting strengths, cost structures, and limitations.

Media Planning & Channel Strategy

  • Develop integrated media and channel plans across paid, owned, and earned ecosystems — with a primary emphasis on digital channels: programmatic display, paid social (LinkedIn, Meta), paid search, content syndication, and account-based advertising.
  • Lead audience strategy, segmentation, and customer journey development grounded in B2B buying committee dynamics and intent signal data.
  • Create launch, activation, and nurture strategies aligned to business and marketing objectives across awareness, demand generation, and pipeline acceleration stages.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Build measurement frameworks, KPI dashboards, and optimization recommendations that connect media investment to pipeline contribution and business outcomes.
  • Design and maintain full-funnel attribution models— from first digital touch through opportunity creation — integrating media data with Salesforce or equivalent CRM reporting.
  • Present performance insights, budget recommendations, and strategic adjustments to senior client stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Collaboration & Client Leadership

  • Serve as the senior media voice in client engagements — leading planning conversations, presenting recommendations, and translating technical media strategy into business-relevant narratives for VP and C-suite audiences.
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure media plans are tightly integrated with broader engagement goals and go-to-market planning.
  • Support commercialization, launch readiness, and GTM planning initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of media planning, activation, or integrated B2B marketing experience — with the majority of that career spent in digital-first, B2B agency or in-house environments.
  • Hands-on ABM platformproficiency (6sense, Demandbase, or equivalent) — this is a non-negotiable requirement; experience must include intent data integration, account scoring configuration, and coordinated cross-channel activation.
  • Demonstratedexperience running 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 ABM programs, with measurable outcomes tied to pipeline or revenue impact.
  • Deep knowledge ofcontent syndication mechanics: waterfall programs, multi-touch lead structures, lead reconciliation, and makegood processes with syndication vendors.
  • Experience managingco-registration, webinar, and virtual event programs as lead generation vehicles, including data capture and downstream lead flow management.
  • Proven ability to buildcustom content programs with trade publications and B2B media partners.
  • Strong technical grounding indigital campaign tracking and tagging: UTM strategy, Google Tag Manager, pixel implementation, cross-channel attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Hands-on experience withplatform integrations across Google Ads, DV360, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, and their interoperability with ABM platforms and analytics tools.
  • Working knowledge of theB2B data provider landscape — including intent data, contact-level data, and firmographic/technographic data providers (e.g., Bombora, TechTarget, ZoomInfo, Aberdeen, D&B) — and the ability to evaluate their relative strengths and limitations.
  • Experience developing and presentingfull-funnel measurement frameworks and attribution models that connect media spend to pipeline and business outcomes.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills; comfortable leading conversations with senior marketing and commercial leaders.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
