Channel Manager

Plumbing Channel Managers are responsible for sales of Plumbing jobs for a team of Plumbing and Drain technicians. Channel Managers operate independently in the field conducting in-home sales presentations and selling our products and services. Channel Manager compensation is 100% commission based. Service Champions provides sales and leads to the Plumbers who will work under a Channel Manager that will develop their team of Plumbers to set up those leads for that Channel Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Have a complete understanding of Plumbing services that we offer. Service Champions will provide the basic training necessary. Any Channel Manager candidate must pass a technical      knowledge test prior to begin given the opportunity to sell.
  • Prepare and present home energy improvement proposals, estimates and contracts to the homeowner’s in-person at their home.
  • Selling our Plumbing Services and or products, and meeting company standards of selling success percentage expectations.
  • Understand and capably present financing options that are offered by the financing companies Service Champions works with.
  • Understanding the salesperson guidelines and practices as explained in the department “Sales Plan” document.
  • Actively follow-up on all sales leads and customer requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service (the WOW factor). Our salespeople own the job from the sales presentation through the installation of the equipment including any follow-up visits.
  • Compensation is 100% commission that is earned once the job is completely paid for.
  • Channel Managers run a blend of marketed leads, tech turn leads and training visits.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends days and evenings.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team to ensure superior customer satisfaction and positive working environment.
  • Provide field training to Service and Maintenance Technicians, go on ride-alongs, provide field sales and technical training 
     

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years sales experience required.
  • Possess the ability to understand basic technical information related to Service and Repair Plumbing.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Energetic and passionate about selling and providing excellent customer service.
  • Some college or technical school education preferred.
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle and satisfy the requirements of insurance carrier.
  • Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens (Drug Test and Background Check).
  • Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Frequently required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
