The Role:

As an Integrations Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining data pipelines that integrate client data into our proprietary CRM software. You will develop API-based integrations, ETL workflows, and automation scripts to ensure seamless data ingestion and transformation. Working closely with Post-Sales and Customer Success teams, you will help deliver tailored integration solutions that enhance data visibility and operational efficiency.

Proton collaborates with Oyster HR to hire international employees as full time (long term) contractors within our company. 

Gross Salary range is $30,000 - $40,000  USD annually, based on experience level.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration:Configure and maintain data pipelines to integrate client data into CRM systems using APIs, flat file exchanges, and automation scripts.
  • Scripting & Configuration: Write Python scripts to automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
  • Data Mapping and Ingestion:Implement mapping logic to ensure incoming data aligns with CRM structures and maintains accuracy.
  • Professional Service Projects: Contribute to client-specific initiatives by developing custom solutions, configuring APIs, and adapting IPaaS tools to business needs.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of processes, data structures, and client integrations. Generate reports for team and client updates.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve integration issues and ensure smooth data flow.

You'll be a great fit for this role if:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in software development, integrations, or data engineering roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of SQL for querying and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, such as version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
  • Bonus: Experience with PySpark, Redis, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL databases.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A customer-focused mindset, ensuring solutions meet client needs with high standards of quality and timeliness.
