Senior Manager, Customer Marketing 

Job Description

The Opportunity

Prove is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Customer Marketing to build and elevate our customer growth and advocacy programs. This is a pivotal role for a customer-obsessed marketer who thrives on celebrating customer success and transforming satisfied users into passionate advocates. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive customer marketing strategy that drives measurable business impact, including account expansion, pipeline acceleration, increased brand reputation, and enhanced customer loyalty.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and own the customer marketing strategy for Prove, aligning with overall company goals and sales objectives.
  • Lead the creation of compelling customer success stories in various formats, including written case studies, video testimonials, webinars, and thought leadership content, showcasing the quantifiable value Prove delivers.
  • Manage and expand our peer review program, actively encouraging customers to provide reviews on key industry platforms like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights, and leveraging these reviews to drive brand credibility.
  • Build and maintain a robust inventory of customer references to support sales efforts, ensuring a diverse range of industries, use cases, and solutions are represented.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customers for marketing requests, including speaking engagements at industry events, media interviews, and participation in Prove-hosted webinars.
  • Develop and implement co-marketing opportunities with key customers, collaborating on joint content, events, and campaigns to expand reach and demonstrate mutual success.
  • Design, build, and manage a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and other customer feedback groups, fostering strong relationships with strategic customers and gathering valuable insights to inform product and business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to identify customer advocacy opportunities, align on messaging, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all customer marketing initiatives, demonstrating clear ROI and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in customer marketing, B2B technology, and digital advocacy.

What You'll Bring

  • 6-9 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on customer marketing, advocacy, or reference programs.
  • Proven success in the B2B technology sector is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive customer marketing programs from strategy to execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling stories and presenting complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience managing projects with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure program effectiveness, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • A passion for customer success and a commitment to helping customers achieve their goals.

 

The anticipated salary range for this role is $135,000- $145,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
