MSF has been present in the Central American region for nearly 50 years, with regular projects and emergencies. In Mexico since 2007, the Branch Office has overseen legal representation, fundraising, communications, and HR recruitment.

MSF has been in Honduras in different projects, including natural disasters, people on the move, epidemics, healthcare exclusion. Our current project in Tegucigalpa´s goal is to reduce the morbidity and mortality related to dengue fever in Tegucigalpa, with a focus on prevention, early detection, epidemiological and entomological monitoring, and proper clinical treatment.

In order to better serve patients and population needs in Central America and Mexico, we want to harness the full potential of the people, capacities, and resources in the region and beyond.

We commit to developing an interconnected, locally led, and inclusive approach to operational management, operational support, and associative engagement.

We will increase capacity for decision-making for operations and implementation of the social mission in the region.
