Position: Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy Analyst
The Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy Analyst will play a key role in strengthening Pearce’s market and competitive intelligence capabilities. This role will focus on developing scalable, data-driven prospecting and research systems that help identify high-quality prospects aligned with Pearce’s existing customer base. The analyst will leverage web-scraper based APIs, AI tools, and structured research frameworks to support geographic expansion, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
1) Data-Driven Lead Discovery & Similarity Modelling
- Extract prospect data at scale using web-scraping APIs and data aggregation tools
- Build and refine “look-alike” prospect models based on existing Pearce customers
- Identify companies with similar:
- Industry
- Geography
- Asset profile
- Service needs
- Continuously improve lead quality using feedback from Sales Managers
- Support lead extraction using:
- Web-scraping APIs
- Structured data sources
- AI-assisted parsing and enrichment
2) Market & Business Intelligence Monitoring
- Track:
- Business news
- Industry reports
- Market announcements
- Convert raw information into early sales and expansion signals
- Maintain an intelligence pipeline aligned with GTM priorities
3) Customer Profiling & Buying Signal Intelligence
- Develop detailed customer and account profiles
- Identify:
- Buying triggers
- Project lifecycle stages
- Expansion and cross-sell signals
- Translate findings into sales-ready intelligence briefs
4) Sales Enablement & Intelligence Delivery
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Leadership teams
- Package intelligence into:
- Prospect briefs
- Market snapshots
- Competitive summaries
- Reports and dashboards
- Translate complex datasets and market insights into clear, visually compelling reports and presentations
- Ensure insights are actionable, timely, and aligned to sales motions
Tools & Technical Proficiency
- Experience with:
- Web scraping tools or data extraction APIs
- AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar automation agents
- Power Automate or workflow automation tools (nice to have)
- Strong proficiency in:
- Excel (data analysis, structuring, reporting)
- Power BI (building dashboards and visual insights)
- PowerPoint (creating clear, executive-ready presentations)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- 3+ Years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, growth analytics, or strategy support roles
- Any exposure to Renewables, Telecom, or REIT is a plus
- Strong business acumen with analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights and narratives
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with high ownership
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in evolving environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to Sales Managers and Leadership
- Comfortable working with data extraction, automation, and AI-driven research tools
