Job Duties: Business Process Analyst is responsible for understanding the workings of Department-wide processes to improve and maintain them. This role will focus on new project implementations within the Operations department by performing the following essential job duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the implementation project backlog, ensuring timely progression of initiatives and requests.
- Conduct initial discovery sessions to assess and understand new business requests and implementation requirements.
- Assist in evaluating the scope, complexity, and resource requirements of new implementation projects.
- Facilitate detailed requirements-gathering and process elicitation sessions to document current-state business processes and operational workflows.
- Provide recommendations on data tracking methodologies that align with implementation standards while supporting accurate reporting and performance measurement.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end future-state process documentation, covering the entire project lifecycle from work intake through billing and project closeout.
- Continuously update and maintain process documentation to reflect changes throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Deliver project tracking and process documentation training to stakeholders and project teams as required.
- Identify, investigate, and document data anomalies, and develop corrective action plans to improve data quality and process integrity.
- Support and drive department-wide initiatives focused on project tracking standardization, process consistency, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance reporting, tracking, and implementation effectiveness.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in business process mapping, workflow design, and process flow documentation.
- Experience writing standard operating procedures and training material.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to work within important deadlines.
- Must have the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Must possess the ability to drive projects from beginning to end.
- Must be comfortable asking delving questions of internal resources of all levels.
- Experience identifying process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency opportunities.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience identifying and evaluating AI, and automation opportunities within business processes.
- Experience delivering training to both Management and Production employees.
- Salesforce reporting
- Power BI Reporting
- Microsoft Tools (Co-pilot, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Generative AI Tools (Claude)
Experience
2–5 years of experience in Business Process Analysis, Operations, Process Improvement, or a related field.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
