A Few Words About the Role

On this position, you will:

• Contribute to the preparation of month-end management accounts for our European entities
• Oversee and review local balance sheets, including inventory reconciliations
• Process accounting transactions, such as posting journal entries in the accounting system
• Work closely with external advisors to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
• Implement, monitor, and maintain local financial controls and processes
• Review and approve weekly payment runs
• Act as a business partner to the Country Manager and support FP&A with budgeting and forecasting by:
  • Providing ad-hoc commercial analysis to support business decisions
  • Taking ownership of the core finance role during regular business reviews
  • Identifying, presenting, and tracking key risks and opportunities

A Few Words About You:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a finance role
• If you do not hold a finance-related degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance
• Experience in D2C and/or subscription-based businesses is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP or SAP Business One is an advantage
• You are self-driven, independent, and have strong attention to detail
• You are fluent in both German and English
• You have advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills for accurate and reliable reporting
• Experience working in an international environment, particularly with German, Benelux, or Italian GAAP and tax regimes

What does the recruitment process look like?

• Phone interview (30 minutes) – This is an introductory call where we want to get to know you better, hear about your experience, and check if our expectations align.
• Meeting with us (in english) – We’ll meet to dive deeper into your experience. This is also your chance to meet your future manager and ask any questions about the role and the team.
• Interview in English – Finally, you’ll meet other managers from different markets. This is a great opportunity to learn firsthand about the specifics of the role in other countries.
