Objective:

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts. As a Sales Consultant you will act as part of a North America Sales Team hunting new business within specific life science territories. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day.

You will be the first point of contact between FirstWord Group and potential new clients at the beginning of our sales cycle. You will be the voice of the company focusing on uncovering unmet needs for our customers becoming a product and industry expert in the process, using that knowledge to win new business leads.

 

What you will do:

You will play a key role in building the client base for FirstWord in North America with the responsibility of:

  • Building new business leads from accounts that have not yet been penetrated.
  • Identifying and closing new prospects (C-level, key decision makers and budget holders) for meetings/online product demonstrations.
  • Promptly and professionally following-up on in-bound leads
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. lead sourcing, adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling)
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Building long term relationships and developing account plans for client targets.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Who you are:

  • 1-4 years’ experience in a B2B sales role. This could be: subscription licensing | content sales | telesales | SaaS sales
  • A quick learner with exceptional communication skills displaying drive, enthusiasm and curiosity. 
  • Must have a positive, entrepreneurial and growth mindset
  • Comfortable speaking to new people and presenting complex solutions into simple ones in person or via the phone/online meeting
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to reach and exceed targets and grow into a world class commercial business person.
