What you’ll do

We're looking for a Developer API Evangelist to champion our trading API and support the growing developer community building on top of it. You’ll serve as a technical liaison between external developers, internal engineering, and product teams—driving adoption, gathering actionable feedback, and amplifying the platform’s value. This is a hybrid role combining technical depth, community engagement, and product advocacy. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically fluent, and passionate about developer experience.

  • Provide first-line technical support to developers integrating with our RESTful trading API

  • Actively engage in developer forums, Reddit/Discord communities, and relevant communities to promote the API, answer questions, and gather feedback

  • Triage developer issues, integration challenges, and bug reports—escalating appropriately to Product and Engineering
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape and prioritize the API roadmap based on developer needs

  • Create and maintain technical content including tutorials, reference implementations, and API documentation

  • Represent the company at developer events, webinars, and hackathons

  • Continuously monitor and improve developer onboarding flows and integration experiences, identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of professional experience in technical support, developer advocacy, or API integration roles—ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Programming experience in Python or TypeScript (both preferred)
  • Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, API keys), error handling patterns, and asynchronous API concepts (e.g., WebSockets, eventual consistency)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to varied audiences
  • A developer-first mindset with empathy for external users and a focus on usability and quality documentation
  • Ability to context-switch effectively and manage multiple threads of work across community, support, and product teams
  • Flexibility and capacity to switch contexts as business needs evolve

Bonus points

  • Experience in financial services or fintech
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
