The Senior AE is self-motivated and able to work independently, but also enjoys the communication necessary to work effectively in a team environment.

What You Will Do

The Senior Account Executive is a leader we rely on to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. They manage their approach, pipeline, and professional development with a continuous growth mindset. The Senior AE has a boldly curious attitude that sparks new connections, adds depth to discovery conversations, and helps inform, inspire, and guide our potential clients toward a new approach.

All of this produces a growing pipeline of new business, a consistent closing motion, and ultimately connects new agencies with the platform for a long-term basis. The Senior Account Executive spins their professional development flywheels and proactively brings their teammates together to keep their sales approach creative, strategic, and innovative.

The Senior Account Executive will increase our capacity to help public-sector staff learn about our software and will work to convert a pipeline of high-potential prospect agencies.

Skills and Experience

Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience and success in high-growth quota-carrying enterprise GovTech SaaS Inside sales - Prospecting, Discovery, Platform Demonstration, and Closing.
  • Experience selling engagement software to communicators, planners, and engagement staff within the local government market.

Personal Qualifications

  • Ability to spin your own growth and learning flywheel using feedback loops with teammates, prospects, clients, and the sales leadership team
  • Self-motivated and fueled by a boldly curious approach and charged with a growth mindset.
  • Coachability and a commitment to be a lifelong learner.

Compensation

This role pays a market-competitive base salary and is eligible to participate in the company's annual bonus plan.

You may also be eligible for our equity incentive program that awards high-performing employees on an annual basis - beginning in year two. These option grants are awarded at the CEO's discretion to acknowledge employees who have made significant contributions to achieving our goals.
