Who Are You:

Puffco is looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager to manage the day-to-day performance, execution, and optimization of Puffco.com on Shopify. This role brings clear ownership and accountability across site operations, conversion optimization, merchandising, and cross-functional execution to support the continued growth and scale of the DTC business.

What’s The Role About:

As the eCommerce Manager at Puffco, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Puffco.com on Shopify. You will balance usability, performance, and brand storytelling to drive conversion, revenue, and engagement. This role partners closely with Marketing, Creative, Development, Sales Operations, and Analytics to execute site initiatives, product launches, onsite promotions, and ongoing optimization efforts.

Some things you will be responsible for:

DTC Site Operations & Performance

  • Own day-to-day management of Puffco.com across domestic and international markets
  • Monitor site performance and health to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
  • Partner with Sales Ops to analyze sales trends, manage inventory levels, and minimize stockouts or oversupply
  • Review data insights and seasonality to support forecasting and promotional planning
  • Manage product lifecycles from NPI to EOL across the DTC portfolio
  • Own eCommerce price lists, discount logic, and promotional integrations

Product Launch & Promotion Execution

  • Own online execution for all product launches and onsite promotions, including marketing and product landing page builds, SKU creation and management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, high-quality execution

Conversion Rate Optimization & Testing

  • Implement CRO strategy across Puffco.com
  • Analyze user behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Crazy Egg
  • Manage and maintain testing and CRO tools (e.g., Because, Visually)
  • Plan, launch, analyze, and report on A/B tests and site experiments
  • Use insights to drive continuous improvements in conversion, engagement, and user experience

Shopify Site Management & Development Collaboration

  • Manage Shopify site execution, updates, and backlog prioritization
  • Manage and update Shopify templates, metaobjects, and modular page components
  • Apply a working knowledge of HTML/CSS to support minor design and layout updates
  • Partner with developers on site updates, new features, integrations, and bug fixes
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative to turn wireframes into fully functional landing pages and PDPs
  • Ensure QA, asset readiness, and performance standards are met for all site updates

Merchandising & Site Experience

  • Own site merchandising across PDPs, collections, and promotions
  • Build and optimize product listings, campaigns, and onsite storytelling
  • Curate and optimize collections to drive discovery, cross-selling, and engagement
  • Maintain product tagging, meta-fields, redirects, and site taxonomy
  • Ensure site readiness for campaigns, promotions, and major initiatives

Cross-Functional Execution & Process Improvement

  • Serve as the liaison for Marketing, Creative, Development, Analytics, and Sales Ops
  • Lead cross-functional execution for site projects, campaigns, and GTM initiatives
  • Improve workflows, documentation, and processes to support efficiency and scale
  • Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve execution speed

Some qualifications and skills we need you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, DTC, or digital merchandising
  • 4+ years of hands-on Shopify Admin experience
  • Strong experience with CRO, testing, and site optimization
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor design and layout updates
  • Strong Excel skills and data fluency
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

This hybrid role is based out of our Los Angeles HQ and requires a minimum in office work 2-3 days per week. 

The compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 for candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. Individual compensation is determined based on experience and skillset.
