Rate: £13.00 – £24.00 per hour

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 5 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy hospital in Warwick. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular histology service.

What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy, able to cut over 35 to 40 blocks per hour to a high standard, and have experience in embedding and staining. On a day-to-day basis, you will support the senior biomedical scientists in delivering the service and provide guidance to junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:

• UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
• Relevant qualification in Biomedical Science (e.g., BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent)
• Proficiency in microtomy, staining, and embedding
