A dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist is being sought, to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to the advancement of patient care.
Requirements
- Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible for registration within six months of interview).
- Applicants that are UK trained must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
- FRCPath (part 1 and part 2).

Typical Job Plan:
- Diagnostic Services: Perform histopathological examinations and provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in regular MDT meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Teaching and Training: Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Research and Development: Engage in research activities to advance the field of histopathology and improve patient outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality standards within the department.
