University Hospital based in Northwest London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Haematologist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a leading healthcare institution renowned for its commitment to patient care, research, and education.
Salary: £99,532 - £131,964 per annum
Salary Period: Yearly
Job Plan and Duties
As a Consultant Haematologist, you will:
- Provide expert clinical care for patients with haematological conditions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to the department’s academic activities.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide out-of-hours cover as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MRCP/MBBS or equivalent.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent.
- Full registration (and a license to practice) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within 6 months of interview.
