Salary: £34,000.00 - £44,000.00 per annum
The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our private practice, delivering therapy to young adults (16-25 years) with high functioning autism and profound and multiple learning disabilities. This is a permanent part-time position, working 2 or 3 days per week (Monday - Friday), with opportunities for remote online work.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will plan, deliver, and amend speech and language therapy treatment programs. You will conduct 1:1 assessment in line with NICE guidelines. You will attend four 1:1 appointment per day across four colleges in the Croydon area, independently traveling between 9:30am and 3:30pm. You will assist young adults in developing communication skills to prepare them for adulthood and practical independence. You will utilize the company app to dictate and complete therapy notes.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience working to NICE guidelines.
- Experience delivering 1:1 speech and language therapy practical assessments.
