Job Title: Consultant Histopathologist
Location: Kent
Working Hours: Full-time
Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Kent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our pathology department, contributing to patient care and supporting the hospital’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities will include:
• Performing diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Providing expert opinions on histopathological specimens.
• Engaging in clinical audit and quality improvement activities.
• Supervising and training junior medical staff and laboratory personnel.
• Contributing to research and development within the department.
Qualifications and Requirements
• MBBS or equivalent.
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent.
• Full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within 6 months of interview.
