Shift: 3x 12.5-hour shifts (flexible across all 7 days including weekends)  

About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Locum MRI Radiographer to join a dynamic imaging team in Lincoln. This role offers flexibility with three 12.5-hour shifts per week, covering weekdays and weekends. Responsibilities:

As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. You will ensure patient comfort and care throughout the imaging process, operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, and work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging. Maintaining compliance with radiation protection, infection control, and health & safety regulations will also be an integral part of the role.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 12 months of MRI scanning experience.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and knowledge of various MRI sequences.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and MRI safety protocols.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends.
  • Philips Scanner experience
