Location: Birmingham + relocation packages available

Salary: £105,000 – £140,000 a year

Employment: Permanent (Full-time and part-time options). Including flexible working

What We’re Looking For:

  • MRCP qualified
  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice
  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Geriatrics, Acute Medicine, or Neurology (or entry expected within 6 months of the interview)
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to CCT in Elderly Care Medicine

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing Elderly Care services in line with strategic requirements
  • Providing routine and emergency Elderly Care, including out-of-hours cover
  • Offering consultation and advisory services to colleagues across specialties
  • Developing a special interest to complement the existing Consultant team
  • Leading and participating in education and training for junior doctors, medical students, nurses, paramedics, and GPs
  • Liaising with specialists and contributing to postgraduate activities
  • Driving innovation in Elderly Care, including research, service improvement, and community outreach
