Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

 

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Pharmacist – Clinical Services to join the pharmacy team in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-quality pharmaceutical care within a well-established NHS setting.

 

The successful candidate will support clinical pharmacy services across various wards, ensuring safe and effective medication management and patient care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to inpatient and outpatient areas.
    • Provide expert advice on medicines management and prescribing practices.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapeutic outcomes.
    • Support audits, clinical governance, and service improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.
    • Contribute to training and mentoring of junior pharmacy staff.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
    • Proven experience in clinical pharmacy within an NHS or similar healthcare setting.
    • Strong understanding of medicines optimisation and patient safety.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
