Head & Neck Sonographer - West Midlands (Weekends Only)

Job Title: Head & Neck Sonographer – Weekend Shifts
Location: West Midlands
Working Pattern: Saturday and Sunday (hours may vary depending on service needs)

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Head & Neck Sonographers to join a well-regarded NHS service in the West Midlands for weekend shifts. You will work independently delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging over the weekend, supporting patient care and service continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of head and neck ultrasound examinations to a high standard.

• Accurately report findings and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during all examinations.

• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of weekend ultrasound services.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.

• Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).

• Proven competency in head and neck sonography.

• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts.

• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
