Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a highly experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to independently manage a specialist adult voice caseload. This locum opportunity offers flexibility to work remotely or in-person across clinics in Hull and East Riding.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with voice disorders and demonstrate advanced therapeutic skills, including training in techniques such as the Accent method.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a specialist caseload of adult voice patients
- Deliver evidence-based voice therapy interventions
- Work remotely or in clinic settings across Hull and East Riding
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centred care
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with voice disorders
- Completion of short courses related to voice therapy (e.g. Accent method)
- HCPC registration and full RCSLT membership (required)
- Experience using SystmOne (preferred for remote working) • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
