Salary: £25.00–£26.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Ongoing (Locum)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Dietitian to join the Adult Dietetics team at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to adults with a range of nutritional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist dietetic assessment and management for adults with conditions such as:
- Nutritional support
- Gastrointestinal disorders (e.g., IBS)
- Diabetes
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Deliver patient-centred care in both clinic and community settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC-registered Dietitian.
- Previous NHS experience in adult dietetics is essential.
- Strong knowledge of managing patients with complex nutritional needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
