Working Hours

Full-time; 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary

Opening

Are you a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist seeking a rewarding role within a specialist personality disorder service? This women-only service offers secure in-patient work balanced with a strong emphasis on therapeutic multidisciplinary care. Located in Chesterfield under Derbyshire County Council, the role provides an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to rehabilitation and recovery for service users with complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead psychological assessments, formulation, and ongoing treatment planning for service users
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and schema-informed approaches
  • Develop and co-facilitate group and individual therapy programmes tailored to personality disorders
  • Collaborate within the MDT, offering consultation, supervision, and formulation support
  • Engage in audit, service development, and evaluation, enhancing best practice across the service
  • Champion person-centred care, promoting autonomy and meaningful occupation
  • Contribute to research and clinical governance initiatives, supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Doctorate in Psychology or equivalent
  • HCPC-registered or eligible
  • Experience delivering evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, schema therapy)
  • Proven ability to work within forensic or secure settings, supporting women with personality disorders

Desirable

  • Experience in specialist in-patient or secure rehabilitation services
  • Skills in clinical audit, service evaluation, or research
