Job Overview
Pulse is now recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join a community-based service located at Uxbridge Civic Centre. This is a fantastic short‑term locum opportunity for a skilled clinician looking to support local adult services and contribute to high‑quality care delivery within the borough.
The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment and intervention to service users within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist speech and language therapy interventions within a community setting
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management plans for adults with communication and/or swallowing needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to support integrated care pathways
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to service development and patient‑centred care initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
- HCPC registration (required)
- Experience working within community SLT services (preferred)
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider MDT
