Working Hours: 3 days per week (22.5 hours)
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Podiatrist to join the community podiatry service at Sittingbourne in Kent. This role involves covering both clinic-based appointments and home visits, providing high-quality podiatric care to patients within the local community.
The successful candidate must have experience using the EMIS clinical system and be able to travel independently between clinic sites and patient homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide podiatry assessments and treatments in clinic and community settings.
- Complete home visits to deliver podiatric care to housebound patients.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EMIS system.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary community healthcare team.
- Promote patient independence and provide preventative foot health advice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in community podiatry settings.
- Competent in using EMIS clinical software (essential).
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
