Rate: £24.00–£31.00 per hour
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Part-time – 3 days, flexible)
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a community-based neuro rehabilitation service in Bromley. This role involves supporting adults with acquired neurological conditions, primarily stroke, within a multidisciplinary and client-centred therapy team.
You will be working as part of the Bromley Neuro Rehab Services, delivering specialist assessment and intervention to individuals in community settings. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 clinician with a strong interest in adult neurology and community rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Provide specialist speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for adults with stroke and related neurological conditions.
• Deliver client-centred therapy within community environments, including patients’ homes and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic rehabilitation goals.
• Contribute to care planning, goal setting, and regular case reviews.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration and membership (or eligibility) with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
• Proven experience working with adults with neurological conditions, particularly stroke.
• Specialist knowledge of adult neurology and experience working in community settings.
• Strong communication, organisational, and team-working skills.
