Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Dietitian to join the team at Musgrove Park Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy acute adult setting, supporting a varied inpatient caseload and delivering high-quality, patient-centred nutritional care. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a diverse caseload across acute wards and contributing to effective discharge planning and patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dietetic assessments and interventions across acute adult wards.
- Manage a varied inpatient caseload, including general medical patients.
- Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans.
- Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues to optimise patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to governance standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registered Dietitian.
- Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
- Previous acute hospital experience is essential.
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
