Locum CAMHS CBT Therapist

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing (minimum 3 months)
Hours: Monday–Friday full time – part-time considered
 
Pulse are seeking an experienced CAMHS CBT Therapist to join an established multidisciplinary team on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-regarded private service delivering high-quality psychological support to children and young people.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health difficulties
  • Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments and develop formulation-driven treatment plans
  • Manage a caseload of CAMHS patients, ensuring safe, effective, and outcome-focused care
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with service and professional standards

 

Requirements

  • Qualified CBT Therapist
  • BABCP Accredited or Registered (essential)
  • Proven experience working within CAMHS / CYP services
  • Strong assessment, formulation, and risk management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
