Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Podiatrist to join Hertfordshire Community Trust at Bull Plain Clinic, Hertford. This community-based role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with complex podiatric needs, particularly those with diabetes and other high-risk conditions.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing tailored treatment programmes to improve patient outcomes and support long-term foot health within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality podiatry care within a community setting
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions
- Develop and implement specialised and complex care programmes
- Provide patient-focused treatment plans to improve outcomes and quality of life
- Maintain accurate clinical records using SystemOne
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Support patient education and preventative care initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registered Podiatrist
- Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent
- Strong background in managing diabetic and high-risk patients
- Working knowledge of SystemOne (essential)
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community role)
