Hourly Rate: £32 - £35
Working Hours: 4 days per week, full-time hours considered

 

Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join the team with our client in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary service focused on the management of high-risk and diabetic foot conditions.
You will play a key role in delivering advanced podiatric care to patients with complex needs, working autonomously to assess, diagnose, and treat a varied caseload while contributing to improved patient outcomes and prevention of complications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an autonomous caseload of high-risk and diabetic foot patients, prioritising based on clinical need.
  • Deliver specialist podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Provide advanced interventions including wound care, offloading, and ABPI assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with diabetic specialist nurses, tissue viability teams, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver education and health promotion to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Trust standards.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Hold a Degree in Podiatry.
  • Have significant NHS experience, particularly within diabetic/high-risk foot care.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge in neurovascular and gait assessment.
  • Possess strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage complex caseloads.
  • Have experience working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering patient education.
