Working Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week (part-time considered)
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Podiatrist to join our client in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a community setting, delivering high-quality podiatry care to patients with a focus on diabetic foot management.
You will play a key role in supporting patients with lower limb complications, working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients within a community podiatry setting.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a range of podiatric conditions.
- Deliver care for patients with diabetic foot complications and associated lower limb conditions.
- Carry out treatments requiring local anaesthesia where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using SystemOne.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Hold a certificate in local anaesthesia.
- Have post-registration experience in diabetic care, ideally within NHS and community settings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of lower limb complications associated with diabetes.
- Have a working knowledge of SystemOne.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for community visits.
