Duration: 12 weeks (with option to extend)
Hourly Rate: £27-32
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week

 

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist to join a hospital team in North-West London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist clinical setting, supporting patients with complex diabetic foot conditions and contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering specialist podiatry services, focusing on the prevention, assessment, and management of diabetic foot complications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist podiatry care for patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage complex lower limb complications
  • Develop and deliver individualised care and treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
  • Support prevention strategies and patient education initiatives
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and governance

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registered Podiatrist
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
  • Strong background in diabetes and high-risk foot management
  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
