Job Title: Paediatric Dietitian
Location: Walsall
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-6 Months (with a view to extend)
Hourly Rate: £32 - £35
Working Hours: Full-Time. 37.5 hours per week

Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paediatric Dietitian to join our client in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity to work across both acute and community settings, delivering high-quality nutritional care to paediatric patients with a wide range of dietary needs.

You will play a key role in supporting children and their families by providing nutritional assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering ongoing dietary management. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help manage a substantial waiting list while ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a paediatric caseload across acute and community services.
  • Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments for paediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment and dietary management plans.
  • Support the management of a large paediatric waiting list of approximately 200 patients.
  • Deliver face-to-face consultations across hospital and community settings.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a recognised qualification in Dietetics.
  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have experience working within paediatric dietetics.
  • Demonstrate experience managing paediatric caseloads within acute and/or community settings.
  • Possess strong nutritional assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Be confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous NHS experience is desirable.
