Duration: 3 months with option to extend
Hourly Rate: £25-26
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

 

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Dietitian to join the dietetics team at Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy acute hospital setting, supporting patients across critical care and surgical wards.

The successful candidate will provide specialist nutritional assessment and intervention for patients with complex nutritional needs, including those requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition support.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist dietetic assessment and treatment within critical care and surgical wards.
• Manage patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
• Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registered Dietitian.
• Previous NHS acute hospital experience is essential.
• Experience managing enteral and parenteral feeding in critical care settings.
• Experience working with surgical patients and complex nutritional care plans.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills.
