About the Role
As the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for shipping, assisting with maintaining accuracy across all inventory locations by investigating all transactions, improving processes and collaborating with other departments to meet strategic company milestones as we grow into new markets.
To Make an Impact, You Will:
- Assist in improving warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
- Responsible for the orderly physical handling, required packaging and safe movement of intermediate and finished product, making arrangements with couriers and accurate order fulfillment and other inventory transactions into the company’s ERP system related to the shipment of materials and products to external suppliers and customers.
- Interface with Customer Service and Finance on fulfillment and tracking of Sales Orders.
- Coordinate closely with the Quality department to ensure that special final inspections are performed in a timely manner prior to receipt into FG (finished goods) storerooms or final shipment to customers.
- Assist with transaction history investigations pertaining to shipping transaction accuracy and discrepancies.
- Prepare sterilization shipments and include proper documentation.
- Provide accurate shipment documentation such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, shipper’s export declarations, shippers’ letters of instruction, dangerous goods declarations, and any other transportation related documentation.
- Assist in any inventory or NetSuite transaction discrepancies.
- Coordinate and transact all contract manufacturer work orders and inventory transfers.
- Responsible for the orderly physical storage and maintenance of accurate documentation, utilizing the company’s ERP software system of inventory within the company’s inventory storerooms, including RM (raw materials), FG (finished goods), MRB (material review), and RMA (returned goods) locations.
- Enter inventory transactions as required into the company’s ERP systems to accurately record the movement of materials within the company and between storerooms.
- Assist with Work Order kitting and tracking.
- Perform periodic physical inventories and maintenance of a cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy and reporting.
- Maintain Pre & Post sterilization inventory locations and miscellaneous locations within ERP System.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
To Excel, You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse distribution experience.
- Knowledge of bulk packing and warehouse pick and pack procedures.
- Medical device industry experience a plus.
- Must have experience with ERP systems, Netsuite preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced start up environment preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP & ISO job related regulations.
- Strong understanding of Fed-Ex shipping procedures and International shipping requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent oral written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work conscientiously and with minimal direction, using good judgment, taking initiative to accomplish short and long-range projects, and recommend actions with minimal direction.
- Ability to work as a team member, multi-task and be very flexible to adapt to the ever-changing work priorities and requirements of a dynamic, fast growing company.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Pay Range:
Compensation is determined based on a wide range of factors including location, job-related skills, experience, education, and training. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. This pay range is specific to Northern California location. Base salary range: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
