About Pump
Pump is a financial operations company designed to optimize business’s cloud spend by reducing their costs. Pump has rapidly expanded since 2022, scaling to over $10M in ARR in less than two years. We are the only completely free cost optimization product on the market, managing hundreds of millions in aggregate AWS, GCP, and Azure spend across hundreds of our customers.
Pump is a Y Combinator-backed startup with dozens of angel investors. Our founding team comprises two founders with multiple $XXm and above exits. Pump has also been called the Costco of the Cloud by Forbes.
About the Role
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate on our technical vision. Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects
- Continuously improve our processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the company as a whole
- Pre-sales, design, and delivery experience with AWS infrastructure solutions and more
- Familiarity with reserved instances, savings plans, and fin ops
- Familiarity with AWS governance, organizations, IAM policies, and delegated administrator
- Knowing how specific AWS services like EKS and AWS marketplace services like ROSA and Datadog will impact the transferring of an organization.
- Knowing specific governance AWS services like control policies and CloudTrail, Artifacts, Control Tower, Direct Re-service, Access Management, and Cloud Formation Stacks
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with and enjoys creating prototypes and experimenting quickly.
What You'll Need
- A Bachelors Degree from a top institution, preferably in a field with coding or computer architecture experience
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a high growth start-up or in a top tech company
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and developing projects at scale
- Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
