The HR Operations Generalist is a vital member of Pure’s HR Operations & Shared Services Team, bridging strategic HR initiatives with operational excellence. This individual contributor role offers wide scope, high impact, and autonomy in supporting employees and front-line managers across multiple countries.

In this high-impact Individual Contributor role, you’ll lead through influence - mentoring others, managing relationships, and driving outcomes. You'll partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to guide managers in areas such as performance management, benefits, compensation, policy interpretation, and systems usage. Your ability to assess nuanced situations and act with limited guidance will make you a trusted advisor in the organization.

Strategic Partnership & Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to managers and employees in areas such as performance development, employee relations, talent management, and engagement.
  • Guide managers through key cyclical processes (e.g., goal setting, talent reviews, calibration) to ensure strategic alignment and consistency.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs using data trends and predictive insights to improve timing and effectiveness of HR support.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and Legal on sensitive organizational changes, proactively managing risk and supporting business continuity.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies and practices fairly and user-centrically, adapting them thoughtfully to diverse global contexts.

Operational Expertise & Digital Enablement

  • Demonstrate expertise in HR tools and systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), core processes, policies, and compliance standards to ensure operational excellence.
  • Own and optimize key HR workflows to deliver a consistent, scalable, and high-quality employee experience across regions.
  • Advise HR and cross-functional partners on scaling or improving systems, programs, and tools to support business growth and evolving needs.
  • Manage HR transactions with precision and empathy while identifying opportunities for automation and system improvements.
  • Partner with internal teams to test and implement digital changes that improve HR service delivery.

Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply systems thinking and structured problem-solving to identify root causes, develop sustainable solutions, and improve organizational processes.
  • Analyze HR and organizational data to uncover trends, generate actionable insights, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives with a focus on standardization, efficiency, automation, and user-centered design across global regions (AMER, APJ, EMEA).
  • Contribute to change management and transformation efforts by ensuring stakeholder readiness, clear communication, and effective implementation strategies.

Leading Through Influence & Collaboration

  • Build cross-functional relationships, align stakeholders, and influence decision-making by fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Identify mentoring opportunities, coach peers, and contribute actively to talent development and team growth.
  • Represent HR Operations in forums, clearly explaining the rationale behind policy and process design.

Required:

  • 5+ years in HR Operations or a client-facing HR role, with hands-on experience in Workday and ServiceNow (or similar systems).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred: 

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).

 

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, UT office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:

$71,000 - $108,000 USD
